NPARC Meeting notes: Monday, May 22, 2017
Time start: 7:30 PM
Location: NP Senior Center/Decorso Center, E. 4th St., New Providence, NJ.

Attendees: M0OKB,KC2WUF,K2EFB,K2JV,KC2ONL,K2AL,KQ2E,KD2ITW,WA2SQO,KB2FCV,KA2MPG,KD2JRI,K2EZR,KC2OSR,K2UI,N2AUG,K2GLS,W2PTP,KC2HLA,N2SLS,K2HEN.

1. W2PTP, President, called the meeting to order at 8PM. Field Day planning was main topic of discussion:
   A) NPARC Field Day: June 24/25. 
      1. Application approved by GLHS for use of our usual location. 
      2. VHF Station to be managed by K2AL and WB2QOQ.
      3. HF Station #2 will be digital mode capable with an IC-7100. K2GLS to manage.
      4. HF Station #1 will have W2PTP as lead.
      5. Still need a lead for the GOTA Station.
      6. Gazebos: One is unaccounted for. Need to determine who has it. KD2JRI and KC2OSR may be able to supply backup gazebo if needed.    
      7. Generators: W2UDT, K2JV, K2EZR and W2PTP
      8. Need to determine  club photographer. Everyone is encouraged to take essential photos.
      9. Tables: KD2EKN
     10. Food: Per KC2OSR (FD lead "dietician"):
         a. Cafe Beethoven going out of business. 
         b. Request made for special dietary needs for FD meals. Turkey/Veggie burgers requested.
         c. Sam will obtain sub sandwich for Saturday lunch.
     11. KC2OSR will publicize FD with Chatham Board of Ed to encourage youth to attend.
     12. Publicity: K2AL
     13. Laptops for logging: Supplied by K2MUN. KC2WUF will perform backups.

   B) Reminder to get your QSL cards ready for the Outgoing QSL Bureau so KC2OSR can arrange to send to ARRL. Sam will be collecting cards for the next month. 
      So bring your QSL's to the next meeting.
   
   C) KA2MPG presented informative videos on capacitors and differential amplifiers.
  
The rest of the meeting was spent ragchewing, drinking coffee and once again,enjoying Norma Cohen's homebaked goods.
